Introduction to The O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ - Seminar

This training seminar is designed to introduce the participant to the basics of both the Oversight Engagement Technique of Close Quarter Battle system of shooting engagements.

Some of the core components of this program include:

  1. Safety briefing & the laser rule
  2. Overview of the O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™
  3. Drawing from the holster (conventional & O.E.T.)
  4. Controlled pairs vs. hammers
  5. Introduction to reloads and stoppage clearing utilizing the O.E.T.

This course requires 300 rounds of pistol ammunition. The total cost of this program is $125.00 plus ammunition per person.

The Training Development Group™ - O.E.T.

Identical to the standard TDG program with the only exception being that all drills, relays, scenarios and exercises are conducted using the O.E.T. System. This program runs once per month and access is restricted to those who have completed the Introduction to The O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ Seminar. The duration of this program is approximately 4 hours and requires 300 rounds of ammunition. The total cost of this program is $75.00 plus ammunition per person.

Deployment of the O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ - Level I

R32;This course of instruction represents the first fully structured course for The O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ and is designed to provide the participant with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to properly utilize a pistol with the O.E.T. System within a violent confrontation.R32;R32;Designed specifically to gradually increase the shooters stress while demonstrating the benefits of the O.E.T. System over more conventional shooting systems. The main training methodology of this program is based upon what is known as a building block approach where the drills, techniques, and tactics are built upon each other in a gradual form.

Some of the core components of this program include:

  1. Safety briefing & the laser rule
  2. Basic principles of CQB engagements & the O.E.T.
  3. The effects of a projectile on living tissues
  4. Drawing from the holster (conventional & O.E.T.)
  5. Controlled pairs vs. hammers
  6. Reloads & stoppage clearing with the O.E.T.
  7. Deployment of the O.E.T. while within a vehicle or other seated position
  8. Cover, concealment & the O.E.T.
  9. Engagement of multiple targets & the O.E.T.

The duration of this course is approximately 15 hours, and requires 800 rounds of pistol ammunition. The total cost of this program is $250.00 plus ammunition per person.

Deployment of The O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ - Level II

The O.E.T. System - Level II course of instruction is designed to provide those who have already successfully completed the O.E.T. System - Level I course and desire to take their training within this system of shooting further. Testing of this system with Grey Wolf Training Specialists students ranging from senior to novice has demonstrated an increase in speed and accuracy and perhaps more importantly the ability to maintain these principles at distances out to 25' with nominal degradation to either accuracy or speed.

Some of the core components of this program include:

  1. Safety briefing & the laser rule
  2. Advanced principles of CQB engagements & the O.E.T.
  3. Deployment of the O.E.T. while within a vehicle or other seated position
  4. Engagement of multiple targets & the O.E.T.
  5. Shooting on the move & the O.E.T.
  6. Tactical movement & the O.E.T.
  7. Basic room clearing & the O.E.T.
  8. Stairway, hallway and doorway management & the O.E.T.
  9. Force on force simulation training & the O.E.T.

The duration of this course is approximately 30 - 40 hours, and requires 1000 rounds of pistol ammunition. The total cost of this program is $450.00 plus ammunition per person and any participant interested in this program must have successfully completed the O.E.T. System – Level I program within the previous 12 months.

The O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ - Instructor Certification

The O.E.T. Instructor certification program will provide the participant with the required knowledge, skills and attitude to properly and safely instruct others in the Oversight Engagement Technique.R32;R32;Upon successful completion of this program, the participant will receive a certificate of completion attesting to their competence and authorization to instruct the O.E.T. Tactical Shooting System to others by Grey Wolf Training Specialists, Inc.

Some of the core components of this program include:

  1. General firearm safety & handling
  2. Range / classroom safety & control
  3. Methods / principles of instruction & the E.D.I.P.C. technique
  4. Lesson plan, live fire drill / relay development
  5. Review of the basic principles of marksmanship
  6. Review of the principles of combat shooting & CQB
  7. Academic overview & practical application of the O.E.T & CJD techniques
  8. First-Aid for the firearms instructor

The duration of this course is approximately 30 - 40 hours, and requires 400 rounds of pistol ammunition. The total cost of this program is $550.00 plus ammunition per person and any participant interested in this program must have successfully completed the O.E.T. System of CQB Engagements™ – Level I program within the previous 12 months and be currently certified as a firearms instructor from a recognized agency or organization.
