Completion of this one-day NRA basic pistol course is required by the State of Connecticut for all pistol permit applicants. This class teaches safe handling of firearms and includes live fire with both revolvers and semi-automatic handguns. Grey Wolf Training Specialists, Inc instructors are NRA certified or more with extensive firearms training and real life experience. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a certificate, which may be used to apply for pistol permits in Connecticut.
Grey Wolf Training Specialists also offers this class in two different formats for the convenience of our clients.
Standard Group Instruction:
This program runs on the second and fourth Saturday of each month at our main offices located in Shelton, CT. The cost for this program is $95.00 per person and is all inclusive.
Private Instruction - Individual:
For some people, it is difficult to spend an entire Saturday in class. It is with these people in mind that Grey Wolf Training Specialists offers private instruction. Identical to the course above, this option allows for the student to schedule an appointment when it is convenient for them. The tuition for this option is $225.00 per person.
Private Group Instruction:
For those groups who cannot make a scheduled group class and have a minimum of 3 participants, we offer the "Private Group Instruction" option. Like the private option above, this program can be scheduled to meet the scheduling needs of the participants. The tuition for this option is $110.00 per person.
